Cisco in Jalisco, Mexico seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to be the primary technical interface at the Manufacturing Partner site, driving operational excellence in delivery, quality, and cost, with strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing and SMT roadmap.

You will lead daily manufacturing support, govern NPI launches, support product transfers, and analyze data for process control while advancing yield, efficiency, and sustainability across sites.

Formación

• BS/MS in IE/EE/ME with 10+ years in electronics manufacturing and quality systems.
• Manufacturing process knowledge including SMT, Wave Soldering, Press Fit, and mechanical assembly.
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication with internal and external partners.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily support of manufacturing tools and processes.
• Support NPI launches and govern sustaining products with manufacturing partners.
• Support product transfers between sites.
• Analyze data sets for quality and process control.
• Drive process optimization, yield improvements, and consistency.
• Provide technical support for defects, line stops, and quality issues.
• Own factory site technical quality metrics and drive improvements.
• Oversee ECOs and deviations during BOM changes or fab spins.
• Review and validate SOPs and SPC specifications during phase gates.
• Conduct audits of factory processes.
• Provide oversight during critical production stages.
• Coordinate with Product Operations central team.
