Cisco's Regional Supply Chain Operations in Mexico is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive operational perfection on PCBA manufacturing and SMT processes. You will partner with manufacturing partners to optimize yield, cost, and delivery while implementing new processes and technologies across sites.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electronics manufacturing/engineering.
• 3-4 years of experience in electronics manufacturing engineering/factory.
• Industry knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and maintains manufacturing methods and operation sequences for parts, components, and assemblies.
• Collaborates with design engineering and production suppliers to coordinate manufacturing processes.
• Addresses moderately complex manufacturing challenges; recommends tooling and process improvements.
• Develops and implements manufacturing processes; estimates manufacturing costs and time standards; maintains documentation.
• Supports team efforts; begins to influence manufacturing workflows and process improvements.
• Coordinates communication between design, production, and engineering teams; prepares reports and updates.
• Manage daily support of our products and tools in manufacturing.
• Support NPI launch and govern sustaining products within manufacturing partners.
• Support product transfers between manufacturing sites.
• Analyze various sets of data and programs for quality & process control.
• Drive process optimization, yield improvements and process consistency within manufacturing sites.
• Provides technical support for all systemic defects, line stops, material purges and quality issues.
• Factory site technical quality metrics ownership and driving metrics improvement relating to structural test.
• Govern ECO and deviation implementation during bom change or fab respin.
• Enforce & review SoP docs and SPC specs during phase gate transitions and periodically for sustaining production.
• Conduct audits of factory processes.
• Provide oversight during critical production stages.
