Job summary

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and sustain manufacturing methods for electronic components and assemblies.

The role collaborates with Design, Test, and Reliability to ensure successful product launches, and ongoing cost reductions and yield improvements. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in manufacturing engineering within electronics, with experience in coating/encapsulation and Six Sigma background considered a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a process engineer, manufacturing engineer, or similar role.
• Experience in Electronic Industry.
• Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
• Electronic Manufacturing and Components Fabrication.
• Coating and encapsulation / potting automation.

Responsibilities

• Support Lean Manufacturing tools implementation (SMED, one piece flow, kan-ban, 5s).
• Balance manufacturing lines and cells according to TAKT time.
• Identify and develop projects using Six Sigma tools.
• Document the manufacturing process thoroughly.
• Support new product introduction and prototypes.
• Generate reports and charts; train colleagues as needed.
• Plan and coordinate preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance for equipment.
