Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specialized in soldering to develop, implement, and maintain methods, tools, and processes for wave or selective soldering of electronic assemblies. You will collaborate with Design, Test, and Reliability to launch products and drive yield improvements.

The role requires expertise in soldering procedures, machining for tooling, and DOE implementation to optimize manufacturability and PFMEA/control plans for processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline related to electronics manufacturing.
• Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing and components fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Support Lean Manufacturing tools implementation (SMED, one piece flow, manufacturing cells).
• Continues quality improvements and elimination of non-value added activities.
• Participate in improvements of manufacturing metrics.
