Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Querétaro to develop, implement and maintain the plant’s engineering functions across manufacturing, processes and tools. The role supports operations by driving improvements and ensuring safety and quality objectives are met.

The candidate will lead projects, coordinate equipment installations, and collaborate with multiple teams to resolve design and production issues, while applying Lean techniques and CAD/SolidWorks skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, electronic or manufacturing engineering.
• 4 years’ experience in manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing techniques and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with assembly controls, automation, mistake proofing techniques and CNC programming.
• Familiarity with PRO-Launch methodology and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement and maintain engineering functions for the facility.
• Coordinate equipment installations, provide technical support and drive process improvements.
• Develop preventive maintenance and ensure Environmental and Safety objectives are met.
• Lead projects through PROLaunch phase-gate process and manage teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, marketing, sales and suppliers to resolve design/production issues.
• Procure tooling and equipment; study product requirements and test methods.
