Eaton is seeking a Sr. Industrial Engineer to lead design, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in our IS AER ITD division. You will drive Lean transformation, apply data‑driven analysis, and partner with cross‑functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost across operations.

The role emphasizes standardization, PFMEA, error‑proofing, and successful product launches through robust process documentation and effective change management.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing with focus on process improvement and Lean.
• Proven continuous improvement and cost-reduction results.
• Strong knowledge of Lean tools: VSM, SMED, 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, Poka‑Yoke.
• Experience with data analysis, time studies, line balancing, and capacity planning.
• Familiar with ERP systems (SAP preferred) for routings and BOMs.
• Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost.
• Develop and optimize processes, ensuring safe, efficient operations.
• Lead engineering changes and deviations with minimal production disruption.
• Support New Product Introduction to ensure successful launches.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, process flows, and visuals.
• Lead PFMEA development and risk mitigation activities.
• Implement poka-yoke solutions to improve first-pass yield.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues (8D).
• Design, procure, and manage tooling and equipment, including capital projects.
• Align SAP data (BOMs, routings) with processes for planning/execution.
• Improve layouts and ergonomics; support safety assessments (JSA, WSRA).
• Train and support personnel on processes and changes.
