Spin Master in Mexico is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead product development and manufacturing efforts, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality design and timely delivery. The role requires close collaboration with local vendors and global teams, plus hands-on support across injection molding, extrusion, and decoration processes.

You will drive DFMA-based design decisions, manage product launches from development to PS, and mentor junior engineers in lean manufacturing and tooling design.

Formación

• Degree in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, or product development engineering, preferably consumer goods/toys.
• Proficiency with plastics transformation processes (injection, extrusion, blow molding) and CAD
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong cross-cultural communication

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering efforts in product development and manufacturing to meet design, cost, and quality targets.
• Guide product designs using DFMA to align with supplier capabilities.
• Launch medium-complexity products from development to Production Start (PS) within timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with suppliers on manufacturing methods and resolve production challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement using CAD, DFMEA, and Lean Six Sigma to boost line efficiency and reduce scrap.
