S&P Dow Jones Indices is hiring a Senior Analyst to support and promote its multi-asset index suite globally. You will develop and maintain index products, especially in derivatives overlays and index-linked insurance, while shaping the business strategy with sales teams and cross-functional partners.

This hands-on Product Manager role requires deep technical understanding and a commercial mindset to drive client adoption across insurers, asset managers, and banks.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree required.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field or progress towards a CFA charter a plus.
• 5+ years of experience working in the index industry, structuring desk at a bank, asset management, or related.
• Experience with options investment strategies or indices.
• Self-driven with strong motivation to research and innovate on new ideas.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills are essential, comfortable working with large data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate would eventually have to deliver high quality presentations both internally and externally to clients.
• In addition, they would be responsible for creating other content. The position requires the ability to deal with a high level of technical complexity and the ability to explain that complexity to audiences with a wide spectrum of sophistication.
• It is not expected that the individual be competent in any of the existing strategies, but they should have the background and the ability to tackle steep learning curves and drive discussions with extremely sophisticated clients.
• Knowledge of financial platforms such as FactSet, Morningstar, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Barra, Axioma, etc. is desirable.
• Programming skills (Python, R, SQL, VBA, others) are desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Candidate can effectively influence others and gain their consensus when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Be viewed as a key subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge of index methodologies and processes, including the product launch lifecycle, and effectively manage timelines while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the development and execution of go‑to‑market strategies for new index launches and the existing product suite.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive client adoption and address technical client inquiries.
• Contribute to product innovation and enhancements, including index reviews, client onboarding and product landscape analysis.
• Support the suite of Multi‑Asset Indices and products via analysis and content creation for thought leadership materials (pitch decks, blogs, white papers, videos, and other media).
• Work closely with the Research and Design team on index design.
• Assist in defining and executing the product development strategy, considering broad market trends and evolving client needs.
• Collaborate with product management team members and support global initiatives.
