S&P Global Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Data Product Owner for the Equity Data value stream to maintain and calculate data for securities and corporate actions globally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and timely delivery for index construction and analytics.

Responsibilities include validating corporate actions, monitoring sources, governing data quality, and developing domain expertise in ISIN/CUSIP and related workflows.

Formación

• Minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in financial services with knowledge of securities business, including equity markets, trading operations, or investment management.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Excellent understanding of financial markets.
• Proficiency in Python programming and/or Databricks.

Responsabilidades

• Research and verify corporate actions (rights offerings, splits, dividends) accurately inputting them into proprietary databases, contributing to the integrity of global indices.
• Proactively monitor multiple news sources for corporate action announcements, ensuring data quality and deadlines.
• Ensure all entries are verified with supporting evidence and provide guidance to the team.
• Implement robust data governance practices, including validation and auditing.
• Develop deep domain expertise in securities and corporate actions (ISIN, CUSIP, Share Type).
• Proactively communicate major issues and coordinate with global teams.
