Brillio 2 is seeking a Senior Mainframe Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale mainframe applications. The ideal candidate will command COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

The role involves designing and supporting batch and online systems, code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning, while ensuring adherence to standards. Collaboration with analysts, architects, QA, and project stakeholders is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 6+ years of Mainframe Development/Engineering experience.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications and production support.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and support batch and online COBOL/JCL/CICS/DB2 apps.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Support production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, QA, and stakeholders.
• Ensure coding standards, security policies, and best practices.
