Autoliv seeks a Senior Process Engineer in Mexico to assure compliance with Manufacturing and Corporate Process Specifications. You will act as the local SME for leather wrapping, coordinating with global teams and leading equipment alignment, process optimization, and 1P1P implementation to boost efficiency, quality, safety, and cost control.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
Extensive experience with leather manufacturing processes in automotive contexts.
Strong knowledge of industrial engineering: process flow, line balancing, work instructions, optimization.
Experience with cost estimation and process feasibility assessments in new business development.
Bilingual: Spanish (100%) and English at least 90% for global collaboration.

Responsabilidades

Serve as the local subject matter expert in leather wrapping processes and ensure compliance with specs.
Act as liaison between local facilities and the global Steering Wheel Product Line to share best practices.
Support production and new product development with guidance on equipment alignment and 1P1P strategies.
Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, cost, safety, automation and productivity.
Provide technical leadership to help local operations achieve global process standards.
