Magneti Marelli Parts & Services in Mexico is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to act as the top technical authority for all software work at the site. This role emphasizes hands-on problem solving and technical leadership over project management.

You will guide a team of software engineers, review designs and code, and ensure timely delivery with high quality. Strong English communication and autonomous work style are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including embedded or automotive software.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical problem solving from symptom to root cause.
• Experience mentoring or directing other engineers.
• Strong written and verbal English communication for US leadership interactions.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the senior technical authority for all software work from the Mexico site.
• Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex technical problems with hands-on involvement.
• Set technical direction and ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Mentor engineers, review designs and code, and build site capabilities.
• Coordinate daily work and communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to leadership.
