Magneti Marelli Parts & Services in Mexico is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority for all software work at the site. This is a hands‑on leadership role, not project management, focused on delivering robust embedded automotive software.

You will mentor the Mexico team, set technical direction, review designs and code, and ensure timely, high‑quality delivery. Strong English communication and autonomy are essential; experience with automotive software and

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience, including embedded or automotive software systems.
Ability to independently lead complex technical problem‑solving from symptom to root cause.
Experience in leading, mentoring, or directing other engineers.
Strong English communication for calls with US leadership and stakeholders.
Autonomy and accountability with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

Own technical tasks, deliverables, and outcomes for the Mexico site.
Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex technical problems rather than delegating.
Set technical direction and make engineering judgments in real time.
Review and validate the technical quality and completeness of work.
