Job summary

Corning Inc. in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to provide hands‑on engineering and daily operational support for Juniper SRX firewalls.

You will develop and maintain firewall policies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure secure connectivity across corporate and manufacturing environments. The role requires at least five years of Juniper SRX experience, strong networking skills, and proficiency with Junos OS.

Qualifications

• At least five years of hands-on Juniper SRX experience including engineering, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong networking knowledge with routing, connectivity and traffic-flow diagnostics.
• Proficiency with Junos OS, SRX policies, zones, NAT, VPNs and high availability.
• Excellent English communication and ability to work independently and with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, review, and maintain Juniper SRX firewall policies and rules.
• Troubleshoot firewall and network issues using logs, captures, and traffic analysis.
• Support firewall deployment, upgrades, and lifecycle management with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve incidents and improve security.
