Verato, the identity experts for healthcare, is seeking a senior Java engineer in Mérida to design, build, and maintain scalable microservices. You will work on RESTful APIs with OpenAPI, ensure data integrity in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, and mentor peers while driving end-to-end delivery from design to production.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Java, experience with CI/CD and security practices, and a strong testing mindset using JUnit/Mockito.

Formación

• Five or more years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in Java.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs with proper versioning and security.
• Proven ability to own features end-to-end from design to production deployment.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to code reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Document APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger and ensure test coverage.
• Collaborate across DevOps, QA, and product management for delivery.
• Troubleshoot production systems and optimize performance.
