Metova in Mexico is seeking an Engineer II- Java with 3+ years of professional software development experience to deliver quality turn‑key solutions across the full stack. You will design, implement, and maintain Java/Spring Boot services, collaborate on CI/CD, and contribute to cloud migration efforts in a SCRUM environment.

Applicants should be proficient with RESTful services, Kafka messaging, and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes, with a degree in CS or Engineering.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful services and microservices.
• Knowledge of AWS or GCP services.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with messaging (Kafka, SQS) and data formats (JSON/XML).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop innovative Java-based solutions across the stack.
• Write clean, scalable, and testable code with a focus on quality.
• Contribute to CI/CD and cloud migration efforts and test-driven development.
• Collaborate in SCRUM team to plan, review, and deliver software.
