EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a skilled Java backend engineer to design scalable services and RESTful APIs. You will build secure microservices, optimize data access, and collaborate with global teams across product, QA, and architecture to deliver robust solutions.

3+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot, strong REST design, and hands-on experience with relational databases. Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes know-how are a plus, and English proficiency is required.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.
• Solid REST API design knowledge.
• Microservices architecture expertise.
• Relational database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• JPA/Hibernate experience or similar persistence frameworks.
• Strong Agile/Scrum collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2).

Responsabilidades

• Design scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications.
• Develop secure, reliable microservices with strong performance.
• Optimize database models and data access layers.
• Integrate external APIs and third-party platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers, product, QA, and architects to deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve scalability and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following best practices.
• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Improve delivery practices through CI/CD automation and engineering process enhancements.
