EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer in Mexico to build and evolve scalable, high-performance backend services powering mobile and web experiences. Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.
• REST API design and microservices architecture knowledge.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate or similar persistence frameworks.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2).
• Strong communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Agile/Scrum experience in iterative delivery.
• Git version control and collaborative workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Design scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications.
• Develop secure and reliable microservices for distributed systems.
• Optimize database models and data access layers for performance.
• Integrate external APIs and third-party platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers, product partners, QA, and architects to deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Improve delivery practices through CI/CD automation and engineering best practices.
