Job summary

Farmers Insurance is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager III to drive planning, execution, and delivery of complex data and analytics projects. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, timelines, and risks, and apply SAFe, Scrum, Waterfall or Hybrid approaches to align IT solutions with business goals.

Fluent English is required and a bachelor's degree is expected; 4–6 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of IT project management experience.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional IT projects with budgets and stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating technical teams, business partners, and third-party vendors.
• Experience in data, analytics, BI, or enterprise tech initiatives preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT Management, or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Fluent English is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of medium- to large-scale IT projects, including data and analytics initiatives.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, Data & Analytics, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Apply SAFe Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies based on project requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates, reports, and presentations to management and key stakeholders.
• Manage project financials, including budget tracking, cost estimates, vendor expenditures, and invoice approvals.
• Coordinate supplier activities, evaluate work requests, and oversee work orders and vendor deliverables.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and decision-making across business and technology teams.
• Establish and manage project acceptance criteria, coordinate acceptance testing, and ensure deliverables meet business and technical requirements.
• Oversee project change management activities and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Review and approve project deliverables, ensuring quality and alignment with business objectives.
• Lead project closure activities, including final documentation and post-implementation reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and delivery effectiveness.
