AgileEngine is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and improve the systems behind corporate IT services and business applications in a fast‑moving tech environment. You will work across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid setups, shaping reliability and security at scale.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
Strong Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting cloud infrastructure and dependencies across compute, storage, networking, identity, and security.
Experience with Active Directory or comparable identity platforms and service-account management.
Infrastructure lifecycle management, patching, vulnerability remediation, change control, incident management, and documentation.
Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across multiple layers and teams.
Experience building or maintaining automation and repeatable operational processes.
Ability to plan, assess risk, define rollback procedures, and execute changes in a controlled manner.
Strong communication skills; ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize work and operate in a regulated or security-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure across on-prem, data centers, cloud, and locations.
Administer and support Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, storage, backup, file services, and core infra services.
Support AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud infrastructure, including dependencies, access controls, monitoring, and readiness.
Support identity and access services, including AD and cloud identity, authentication, authorization, and service accounts.
Plan upgrades, migrations, patching, capacity expansions, and decommissioning activities.
Monitor health, availability, performance, capacity, backup status, and security signals; address risks.
Lead root-cause analyses for incidents; implement corrective actions.
Develop automation with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
Maintain architecture diagrams, asset inventories, runbooks, and recovery procedures.
Support disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and recovery testing.
Collaborate with security, network, cloud, application, service desk, compliance, and vendor teams.
Participate in on-call or after-hours support rotation.
