BCS Automotive Interface Solutions in Mexico’s Querétaro region is seeking an experienced Process Engineer focused on injection molding. You will develop molding processes for new products, run mold trials, set up process parameters, and ensure a smooth handover to mass production.

Responsibilities include optimizing cycle times, improving OEE, conducting DOE studies to validate process windows, and creating SOPs and parameter sheets. English required.

Formación

• 10+ years hands-on process engineering experience in injection molding.
• Experience with engineering plastics (PC, PC+ABS, PA, PBT, ABS, PMMA, POM).
• Experience in automotive/electronics/precision injection molding environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop injection molding processes for new products, including mold trials (T0/T1), parameter setup, and finalization.
• Lead new mold trials, debug parameters, optimize cycles, adjust gates/runners, analyze defects, and ensure smooth transfer to mass production.
• Optimize cycle times and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to validate process windows.
• Establish and maintain Process Parameter Sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

The positon is responsible to:

Your role:

• Develop injection molding processes for new products, including mold trials (T0/T1), process parameter setup, and finalization.
• Lead new mold trials, covering parameter debugging, cycle time optimization, gate/runner adjustment, defect analysis, and solution implementation; establish clear acceptance criteria for mass-production handover to ensure a smooth transition from trial to production.
• Optimize cycle time for existing products and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to validate and optimize process windows.
• Establish and maintain Process Parameter Sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

What do you need?

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on process engineering experience in injection molding manufacturing.
• Experience with engineering plastics such as PC, PC+ABS, PA, PBT, ABS, PMMA, POM, and their processing characteristics.
• Experience working in an automotive, electronics, or precision injection molding environment.
• Advance english
