TE Connectivity seeks a Mold Design and Process Development Engineer in Querétaro to develop and industrialize molding tools for new and existing products. You will work with product development, quality and project teams to launch molds that meet specs.

The role requires 5–8 years in mold design/processing, proficiency with Creo/SolidWorks, and flow simulation tools (Moldflow/MoldEx 3D). Domestic/international travel up to 30% may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering (required); Master’s preferred.
• 5–8 years of mold design and processing experience.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (Creo/SolidWorks).
• Experience with flow simulation (Moldflow or MoldEx 3D).
• Knowledge of mold making and geometric tolerancing.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and industrialize molding tools for new and existing products.
• Lead mold design reviews and run at rate studies.
• Define mold specifications for prototypes and production.
• Collaborate with external tooling vendors and COE for best practices.
• Transfer, set up, and qualify molds in final manufacturing location.
• Develop PFMEA and Control Plans with cross-functional teams.
