Nubank in Mexico City seeks a Senior Data Center Engineer to assess and size critical environments, coordinating multi-discipline deployments to meet team needs. You will ensure safety and quality standards while planning schedules and managing vendor relationships.

You will supervise analysts, draft RFPs, define materials, and maintain up-to-date project documentation, with a focus on operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in projects, deployment and operation of infrastructure in critical environments.
• 4+ years hands-on experience with electrical systems, telecommunications (connectivity, cabling), and mechanical systems (HVAC/cooling).
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• AutoCAD - intermediate level.
• Microsoft Office - intermediate level.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing and sizing use of critical environments and defining suitable technical characteristics.
• Coordinating logistics for electrical, mechanical, civil, structured cabling, and systems deployments.
• Developing clear RFPs or quotes for vendors based on expansion or improvement needs.
• Defining and monitoring materials, equipment, and delivery timelines for infrastructure projects.
• Planning and approving task schedules for deployments and managing change processes.
• Supervising project execution and ensuring quality, safety, and technical standards.
• Performing analyses, identifying nonconformities, and preventing incidents.
• Maintaining infrastructure occupancy documentation and audit-ready records.
• Training analysts and guiding junior team members on standards and regulations.
• Preparing internal policies and monitoring OKRs.
• Providing technical support and onboarding assistance as needed.
• Participating in recruitment and onboarding for new team members with safety compliance.
