Jobgether is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer based in Mexico to design, build, and evolve scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure for customer-facing products. You will own critical systems end to end, from architecture to production operations, and collaborate with product engineering, security, and DevOps teams.

You will mentor engineers, drive cross-team decisions, and implement pragmatic solutions with a security-first mindset.

Formación

• 6-10 years of infrastructure, platform, or backend engineering in cloud environments.
• Demonstrated ownership of a product or subsystem from design to production.
• Deep infrastructure expertise with one or two domains and breadth across stack.
• Hands-on with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and cloud fundamentals.
• Proficient in Go or Python and production software skills.
• Experience with Redis/ElastiCache, observability tools, and incident handling.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Own core infrastructure product/subsystem end to end, including design, deployment, and improvement.
• Define objectives and success criteria aligned with business goals.
• Translate requirements into pragmatic, edge-case aware designs.
• Build secure, resilient, and cost-efficient infrastructure for diverse workloads.
• Develop and ship developer-facing tooling to improve productivity.
• Manage infrastructure through code, primarily using Terraform.
• Collaborate with product engineering to design scalable services.
• Lead incident response and systematic debugging across services.
• Improve monitoring/observability using operational data.
• Apply security-first mindset in code reviews and designs.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design discussions.
