Jobgether is partnering to hire a Senior Site Reliability Engineer based in Mexico. You will own reliability of critical production systems, define SLIs/SLOs, and lead incident responses. The role emphasizes cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and observability tooling across a globally distributed team.

You will collaborate with product engineering, improve deployment safety, and mentor engineers on operational practices. Strong emphasis on resiliency, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.”

Formación

• 6–10 years of experience in SRE, production engineering, infrastructure, or backend engineering.
• Hands-on experience defining, implementing, and operating against SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Experience with high-severity incident response and improving incident-management practices.
• Strong cloud fundamentals plus Kubernetes/EKS and distributed systems.
• Experience with observability platforms and production tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Own the reliability of critical production systems end to end, including instrumentation and performance under real-world traffic.
• Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for key services.
• Improve alert quality and reduce noise, and investigate incidents across service boundaries.
• Lead high-severity incident response, perform postmortems, and drive improvements.
• Design, build, and operate secure, resilient infrastructure with failure-mode focus.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and align with service architecture.
• Develop production software and developer tooling to reduce operational toil.
• Conduct chaos engineering, game days, and controlled failure testing.
