Carrier is seeking a passionate Calculation Engine Engineer to join our Modeling and Simulation team. You will develop robust calculation engines using heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods to optimize product selection and customer solutions.

Collaborating with marketing, product engineering, and global stakeholders, you will translate customer needs into high‑performance models, ensure accuracy, and contribute to documentation and platform integration.

Formación

• Strong foundational knowledge in heat transfer, thermodynamics, numerical analysis, and nonlinear systems (algebraic/differential).
• Hands-on programming with Python, Modelica (TOP), C++ or related languages.
• Engineering experience in design/analysis/applications of HVAC/R or power plant equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate across functions and work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain state-of-the-art calculation engines for Carrier’s HVAC product offerings and sales tools.
• Apply heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods to robust engineering algorithms.
• Collaborate with optimization engineers to develop advanced algorithms for system selection and performance predictions.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, product engineering, and global teams to translate customer requirements into solutions.
• Support integration and deployment of calculation engines into Carrier’s modeling and configuration platforms.
• Ensure model accuracy, robustness, scalability, and maintainability via validation and testing.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
