Carrier is seeking a Calculation Engine Developer to join the Modeling and Simulation team in Monterrey. The role focuses on developing robust calculation engines for HVAC product selection and performance prediction.

You will apply advanced thermodynamics and numerical methods, collaborating with marketing, product engineering, and global stakeholders to transform requirements into high-performance models.

Formación

• Master’s degree or PhD in Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning, Fluid Machinery, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant engineering experience with a Master’s degree (or equivalent with a PhD).
• Strong foundations in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical analysis.
• Experience with nonlinear algebraic and differential equation systems.
• Hands-on programming in Python, Modelica, C++, or related languages.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain state-of-the-art calculation engines for HVAC product offerings and sales tools.
• Apply heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods to engineering algorithms.
• Collaborate with optimization engineers on advanced algorithms for system selection and performance predictions.
• Translate customer and business needs into technical solutions with global teams.
