Carrier in Mexico seeks a Calculation Engine Developer to design, implement, and test advanced calculation engines for our HVAC product offerings. You will apply heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods to build reliable engineering algorithms.

You will work with global teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions, ensure model accuracy and performance, and contribute to best practices across software components.

Formación

• Master’s degree or PhD in Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning, Fluid Machinery, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant engineering experience with a Master’s degree (or equivalent with a PhD).
• Hands-on programming in Python, Modelica, or C++.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain state‑of‑the‑art calculation engines for HVAC products.
• Apply heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods to develop accurate engineering algorithms.
• Collaborate with optimization engineers to develop advanced algorithms and predictive tools.
• Work cross‑functionally with marketing, product engineering, and global teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Support integration and deployment of engines into modeling/configuration platforms.
• Ensure model accuracy, robustness, and scalability through validation and testing.
• Drive resolution of numerical stability and performance challenges.
• Define and enforce best practices for calculation engine development.
