Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer for HV substation projects in Mexico City. The role focuses on detailed civil/structural design, reviews, and coordination with external consultants to ensure constructability and compliance with standards.

You will apply your expertise to grading, foundations, steel structures, and bus systems, while communicating progress and risks to project leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• 5–10+ years of civil and structural engineering experience for HV substations and generation projects.
• Experience on EPC projects and knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC and ANSI standards.
• Proficiency with StaadPro, SAP2000, RISA; familiarity with Revit/AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare calculations including seismic requirements, drawings and specifications for grading, buildings, foundations, steel structures, overhead conductors, and rigid bus.
• Develop conceptual designs for pricing, perform civil and structural designs and calculations.
• Review and approve outside engineering packages and manufacturer documentation.
• Ensure deliverables meet schedule, standards and client specs; communicate risks to Project Manager.
• Support Proposal and Project Execution teams in project execution and client meetings.
