LEGO Group in Monterrey is seeking a Sr Accounting Specialist to build a best-in-class General Ledger function within Business Service Operations. You will own key GL tasks, support month-end closes, and provide insightful financial analysis for US and Canadian entities.

As our Sr Accounting Specialist, you'll t plays an important role in developing a best in class GL department within the BSO. We need development-oriented individuals, eager to engage actively in shaping and strengthening a high-performing department, valuing collaboration, process excellence, quality and fun in the everyday life. During this six-month temporary contract, you'll take ownership of key General Ledger activities and provide functional accounting expertise within Business Service Operations.
Control balance sheets and profit and loss statements for United States and Canadian legal entities. Oversee month-end close activities and help ensure accurate, complete reporting. Provide financial data, analysis and practical advice to support business decisions. Supply relevant information to external auditors and the Tax team. Analyze financial statements and annual reports. Provide information about specific General Ledger areas used to prepare and report financial statements. Review balance-sheet reconciliations and follow up on identified differences. Participate in the LEGO® tactical implementation plan supporting General Ledger priorities. You'll join the LEGO® Group's Business Service Operations team, which provides employee and finance services from Monterrey, Prague, Singapore and China. You'll establish strong control over month-end activities, financial statements and balance-sheet reconciliations across the United States and Canadian scope. You'll become a reliable source of General Ledger expertise for financial business partners, external auditors and the Tax team, supporting sound decisions throughout the six-month assignment.
