Athenaworks is seeking a Mid-Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs for immersive client projects. You will collaborate with a diverse team, taking ownership from concept to deployment in a fast-moving startup.

Strong knowledge of React, TypeScript, Java or Python, and AWS is required, with advanced English. You will use AI tools to boost development, participate in code reviews, and help drive best practices.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional software development with full stack experience.
• Backend services in Java or Python.
• Relational databases design and query optimization (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Strong AWS knowledge: SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB.
• Frontend with React and TypeScript; testing with Jest/Cypress.
• Excellent English communication and startup ownership.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Collaborate to design features from concept to deployment.
• Own features end-to-end including DB schema, backend, API and frontend.
• Implement unit, integration, and functional tests across the stack.
• Perform code reviews for frontend and backend code.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks from DB to UI.
• Troubleshoot issues and work across systems as needed.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development, testing, and CI/CD.
