SSOE, Inc. is seeking a senior Fire Protection Designer to develop and coordinate fire protection systems for multidisciplinary projects using Revit and AutoCAD.

The role includes leading BIM coordination, mentoring junior staff, and supporting project delivery from concept through construction. Minimum 7+ years in fire protection design, strong knowledge of NFPA standards, and experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with mechanical/fire protection emphasis.
• 7+ years of experience as Fire Protection Designer or related role.
• Knowledge of sprinkler/standpipe design and NFPA standards.
• Ability to resolve design coordination and technical challenges.
• Proficient CAD/BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit) and multidisciplinary environments.

Responsabilidades

• Independently develop, maintain, and coordinate fire protection designs and BIM models using Revit.
• Prepare fire protection construction documents including drawings and calculations.
• Design and coordinate sprinkler systems, standpipes, pumps, and fire water distribution.
• Create/modify Revit families, templates, schedules, views, and model content.
• Perform multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash resolution with other disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Develop pipe routing, risers, hangers, equipment layouts, and system schedules.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with project teams and site visits.
