SSOE, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer/Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead electrical design for large-scale commercial facilities. Responsibilities include power distribution, lighting, data/communications, and coordination using Revit/BIM.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams, and ensure project delivery within schedule and budget while adhering to NEC, NFPA, and IES standards. Hybrid work model available.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
• 10+ years in electrical design for large commercial facilities (healthcare, aviation, education, corporate).
• Experience with power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems.

Aufgaben

• Lead electrical design for large-scale commercial projects.
• Coordinate using Revit/BIM and ensure model quality.
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit and coordination studies, lighting analyses.
• Ensure designs meet NEC, NFPA, IES, and local codes.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Engage with clients to define scope and present progress.
• Prepare technical specs and cost estimates.
