SSOE, Inc. seeks a Fire Protection Engineer to support the design, BIM modeling, coordination, and delivery of fire protection systems for industrial, commercial, and manufacturing projects.

Working under senior engineers, you will apply fire protection principles, BIM/Revit tools, and applicable codes to produce quality design solutions and construction documents. This role blends Fire Protection Engineering fundamentals with strong BIM capabilities, serving as a technical contributor

Formación

• Very good English written and verbal ability.
• Knowledge of NFPA 10, NFPA 13, NFPA 14, NOM-002 and NOM-026.
• Experience with fire protection design and BIM modeling, including hydraulics and standpipes.

Responsabilidades

• Develop fire protection designs and construction documents for sprinkler systems, standpipes, pumps and related components.
• Create and coordinate Fire Protection BIM models in Revit, including pipe routing and equipment layouts.
• Perform clash detection and support BIM coordination with multiple disciplines.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for hose station systems and assist with sprinkler and seismic brace calculations.
• Apply NFPA, NOM, clients, and project standards to design activities.
• Assist with site visits, field surveys, material take-offs, bidding support, and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical training and study groups.
• May participate in client coordination meetings and project execution efforts.
• May conduct site visits, field surveys and existing condition assessments.
• Valid driver's license required.
• May write portions of specifications and assist in preparing design and construction cost estimates.
• Job may require use of AI or similar digital technology.
