Nubank is seeking an experienced Controllership professional to lead back office and financial operations within its Mexican operations. You will oversee compliance, settlement, and daily cash flow management, coordinating with treasury and cross-geo teams.

The role requires 8+ years in back office or regulated fintech environments, strong knowledge of treasury processes, and familiarity with BANXICO/SIAC, SWIFT, and related systems. Hybrid work in Mexico City with equity and extensive benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in industrial engineering, business administration, economics, accounting, or related field.
• 8+ years leading back office or financial operations in banks or regulated fintech entities.
• Fluent in Spanish and English to engage treasury, back office and cross-geo teams.
• Experience with interbank loans, overnight operations, and deposit auctions.
• Knowledge of treasury processes: transfers, reconciliations, rate validation, interest calculations.
• Experience with BANXICO SIAC, SAGAPL, INDEVAL, SWIFT.
• Experience in foreign operations and Mexican exchange rate regime.
• Lead new product/features affecting cash management.
• Regulatory reports review/preparation for BANXICO and CNBV.

Responsabilidades

• Operate back office activities focusing on local Nubank Mexico operation.
• Comply and settle market transactions through SPEI-SIAC and other bank portals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for financial operations per treasury instructions.
• Manage bank funding and accounts to keep operations running smoothly.
• Create controls over bank activities and strengthen SOX controls.
• Upload and analyze daily short-term cash flow.
• Manage SAP movements related to bank movements and reconciliations.
