Job summary

Nubank, a leading digital bank in Latin America, seeks a senior treasury professional to optimize the balance sheet and fund while building automation and analytics for traders in Mexico. The role focuses on daily balance sheet assessment, liquidity needs, and pricing of fixed‑income instruments and derivatives within a dynamic trading desk environment.

You will collaborate with ALM, Finance, and Risk teams to design new products and automate workflows, progressively taking on broader desk

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in the financial sector.
• Market experience and technical knowledge of fixed‑income products, understanding how financial instruments are priced and traded.
• Prior experience with derivatives (IRS, FX) and bond portfolio management in a treasury or trading desk environment.
• Experience designing and developing analytical tools or data visualizations.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a meticulous and detail‑oriented approach.
• Technical proficiency in Python and/or other programming languages.
• Ability to multi‑task and adapt, delivering across a variety of topics in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day treasury activities, including the sizing and implementation of cash and derivative trades, portfolio optimization, P&L calculation, and trading limit control.
• Develop internal modeling and data visualization tools to support traders' decision‑making processes and automate daily workflows.
• Coordinate with other teams and build strong working partnerships, primarily with — but not limited to — ALM, Finance, and Risk teams.
• Engage in ad‑hoc projects related to new trading strategies, funding strategies, and other treasury solutions.
• Contribute to the design, structuring, and implementation of new products, eventually including IRS, FX derivatives, and bond portfolios.
• Act as a back up for the funding desk
