Nu Mexico City seeks a Senior Controllership/Back Office Lead to manage local back-office operations under CNBV oversight and ensure market transaction compliance. You will drive cash management, supervise treasury activities, and collaborate with cross-geo teams.

The role requires strong leadership, deep treasury knowledge, and experience with local market tools. Hybrid work model with 2 days per week in the office, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in industrial engineering, business administration, economics or accounting.
• 8+ years leading back office or financial operations in banks or regulated fintech.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Experience with treasury processes and bank operations.
• Ability to lead teams and implement cash management related processes.
• Knowledge of treasury processes: transfers, reconciliations, rate validation, interest calculations.
• Experience with BANXICO SIAC, SWIFT, SAGAPL and INDEVAL tools.
• Experience in foreign operations and Mexican exchange rate regime.
• Lead new products and features affecting cash management.
• Regulatory reports review/preparation for BANXICO and CNBV.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the Back Office activities for local operation of a NUBANK IBM monitored by CNBV.
• Compliance and settlement of market transactions through SPEI-SIAC and bank portals.
• Ensure compliance with each financial operation per treasury instructions.
• Provide bank funding and manage bank accounts to keep operations running.
• Create controls over bank activities and enhance SOX controls.
• Upload and analyze short-term cash flow updated daily.
• Manage SAP movements regarding bank movements and reconciliations.
