The Clorox Company in Jinetes, Mexico is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Supply Chain Finance Team. You will oversee monthly close, forecasting, and provide insights to drive performance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in finance, strong US GAAP knowledge, and the ability to influence across procurement, planning and SBUs. This hybrid role offers growth, collaboration, and training opportunities.

Your role at Clorox:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Senior Financial Analyst to join our Supply Chain Finance Team. The Senior Financial Analyst will be an integral part of the S&A Finance Team, supporting multiple businesses and the Product Supply Organization. The individual will serve as a key liaison with Procurement, Planning, Transportation, and SBU teams to gather and integrate inputs for the close and forecasting processes.

To be successful he/she must demonstrate the following skills: leadership, influencing, analytical, communication and be an agent of change. Sr. Financial Analyst must also successfully lead, train and engage new team members.

In this role, you will:
Financial Planning and Reporting.
  • Ensures monthly accounting close for multiple owned SBUs and accounts, including but not limited to purchase price variance, are performed in accordance with company accounting policies and procedures, Internal Control Compliance and GAAP.
  • Forecasting: Lead key monthly forecast processes, providing insights that contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the company’s financial plans, and performance vs expectations.
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in Procurement and SBU teams.
  • Management updates: Collaborate with business units to provide timely and accurate financial updates informing both internal and external outlooks.
  • Support the annual standards setting process and training.
Contract Analysis/ Process Improvement
  • Decision support: Provide thought leadership and financial expertise to strategic decisions, such as contract analysis and business projects, among others.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by proactively identifying, championing and driving process improvements through partnerships with Business Units, Cost and Forecast teams.
Internal Controls
  • Support extensive internal controls processes for financial planning and supply chain finance ensuring no material deficiencies, partnering with Business Units on control requirements and maintaining correct documentation.

3+ Years of professional experience in finance and/or accounting.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting software.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Ability to work effectively in teams (both within Finance and cross-functionally)
  • Strong planning & organizing skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage workload to meet deadlines
Education Level/Degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA or equivalent working experience.
