Job summary

AVEVA Denmark seeks a Sr Finance Accountant in CDMX to support a robust financial control environment and lead the monthly close. You will partner with internal and external auditors and require strong Oracle and Excel proficiency for data extraction and reporting.

The role reports to the Controller and demands ownership of balance sheet processes, reconciliations, and data accuracy, with exposure to a global, matrixed organization and SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• Strong experience in controllership/close-focused finance with balance sheet ownership.
• Working knowledge of SOX and internal controls; Oracle and advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead monthly close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and resolve issues.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and review others' work for accuracy.
• Identify reconciling items, drive resolution, maintain documentation.
• Own SOX controls, evidence collection, and remediation initiatives.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules, docs, and walkthroughs.
