Hyatt The Standard, Mexico City is seeking a Senior Engineering Supervisor to lead the on-site engineering team and oversee maintenance programs. You will ensure reliable operations across all MEP systems, coordinate with vendors, and partner with departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will mentor engineers, manage projects, and drive sustainability while maintaining Hyatt's high standards of safety and service.

Formación

• Experience leading a multidisciplinary engineering team in hospitality.
• Strong preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Vendor management and procurement coordination.
• Familiar with MEP systems including HVAC, electrical and life safety.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and inspire the Engineering team to maintain high standards of reliability.
• Develop talent and train the Engineering staff.
• Support Engineering Supervisors with technical and administrative tasks.
• Solicit and manage proposals from vendors for parts and services; coordinate PO process.
• Ensure mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and life safety systems operate efficiently.
• Respond quickly to guest and operations needs, solving problems with practical solutions.
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to keep the hotel performing at its best.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Office, F&B and other teams to deliver seamless service.
• Monitor contractors and projects for quality, safety, and brand compliance.
• Champion sustainability initiatives and identify efficiency improvements.
• Lead by example, blending technical excellence with hospitality.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and inspire the Engineering team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop talent and train the Engineering team.
• Supporting the Engineering Supervisors with technical and administrative work.
• Get proposals from vendors of spare parts and services required, follow up with the Administrative Assistant to obtain the purchase order.
• Ensure the hotel's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life safety systems operate efficiently and reliably.
• Respond quickly to guest and colleagues requests and unexpected challenges, always finding practical solutions.
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs that keep our hotel performing at its best.
• Partner closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and every operational team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Monitor contractors, vendors, and ongoing projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with brand standards.
• Champion sustainability initiatives and identify opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising the guest experience.
• Lead by example, creating an environment where technical excellence meets genuine hospitality.
