Jabil is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead large-scale initiatives from initiation through completion. You will coordinate planning, staffing, progress reporting and risk management to ensure technical quality, schedule and cost targets are met.

The role emphasizes regulatory awareness, process development and continuous improvement, with collaboration across product development and manufacturing teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• 6–8 years of work experience in engineering or project management.

Responsabilidades

• Leads complex engineering projects and ensures regulatory/compliance certifications (ISO9000, ISO14000, AS9100, TUV).
• Participates in product/manufacturing development meetings and may lead, recommending changes.
• Implements best practices for equipment/manufacturing layout to maximize efficiency and cycle time.
• Leads complex projects on new technical developments and processes.
• Controls project budget.
• Provides engineered solutions to complex equipment problems.
• Delivers quotes for projects including equipment, labor, and maintenance costs.
• Drives continuous improvement using proactive methodologies and trend analysis.
• Assesses data gathering methods used by teams.
• Leads preparation, monitoring and evaluation of equipment setups, layouts, and process changes.
• Assesses capabilities and suggests solutions for needs or enhancements.
• Provides ongoing direction and training on process development, root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Drives proactive supplier involvement and aids their process improvements.
• Interfaces and provides technical support on quality issues with customers.
• Assists Design Engineers with Design for Manufacture issues.
