SEGULA Technologies in Mexico City seeks a Senior Electrical Project Cost Engineer to lead cost estimation and optimization for vehicle electrical architectures. You will collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and finance to align specifications with project budgets.

The role requires deep expertise in cost drivers for sensors, fuses, motors, and 12V systems, with hands-on experience in DFc/VA/VE and bottom-up modeling. Hybrid office model in Mexico City is expected.

Formación

• Advanced degree in EE/Mechatronics/Automotive Engineering or MBA.
• Experience with automotive cost engineering or VA/VE is required.
• Proficiency with cost database tools and bottom-up costing software.

Responsabilidades

• Perform detailed cost breakdown analysis for electrical systems and components.
• Evaluate cost drivers in PCB, molding, material, tooling, and assembly processes.
• Lead DFc and VA/VE workshops to identify savings.
• Develop bottom-up cost models and benchmark supplier proposals.
• Collaborate with engineering to balance performance and unit cost.
• Conduct teardowns and audits to establish market benchmarks.
• Validate supplier tooling costs, scrap rates, and labor costs.
