Job summary

Gates Corporation in Mexico City seeks an experienced EDI Technical Administrator to maintain the stability and performance of the B2B system and the Sterling environment.

You will work with SFTP, AS2, OFTP2, Linux, and IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, develop SOPs, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and support new projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in EDI Technical Administration and Operations support.
• Experience with IBM Sterling software suite: B2B Integrator (Maps, BPML, Services/Adapters, Administration, Tuning, Troubleshooting).
• Experience with Sterling B2B Integrator mapping, trading partner, message and communication profile configuration.
• Strong Data Exchange/EDI background in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and commands.
• Ability to document SOPs and best practices for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining stability and performance of the B2B system and all components.
• Actively manage the performance of the EDI Sterling environment, including capacity planning and tuning.
• Support B2B communication protocols including SFTP, AS2, and OFTP2.
• Create best practices for Sterling B2B Integrator with supporting documentation and SOPs.
• Participate in remediation of EDI Sterling B2B incidents; provide 24x7 on-call rotational support.
• Collaborate with other teams to remediate EDI B2B issues (server, network, database).
• Work on prioritized incidents, enhancements, projects, deployments, upgrades, and performance testing.
• Participate in IT Change Management to schedule and support EDI changes.
• Support new projects affecting the EDI Sterling B2B Integrator landscape.
• Engage with IBM for product support/questions as required.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
