Capital One is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering in Mexico City to lead a large software engineering organization focused on cloud-native delivery and governance. You will mentor leaders, drive cloud initiatives, and align engineering work with business goals.

You will recruit top talent, collaborate with US tech leaders, and shape the roadmap for high quality software built on AWS, ensuring resilience, visibility, and scalable systems across critical products.

Formación

Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience.
15+ years in technical roles including software/data engineering.
5+ years of executive tech leadership experience.
Experience driving architecture and engineering at enterprise scale.
5+ years with public cloud technologies.
Fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

Lead 50–70 software engineers and guide a large engineering org.
Drive recruiting to staff a 100+ person team.
Provide thought leadership on software delivery, cloud, and risk engineering.
Lead AWS deployment and cloud-native solution design.
Collaborate with Architecture, Card Product, Card Technology, Enterprise stakeholders.
