Capital One in Mexico City seeks a Sr Lead Full Stack Software Engineer (Individual Contributor) to guide a portfolio of complex, distributed microservices and full-stack initiatives that meet regulatory requirements. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product managers, and deliver cloud-based solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS.

Advanced English and 8+ years in software engineering are required, with experience in cloud computing (AWS) and AI

Formación

Advanced English fluency.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
8+ years of experience in software engineering.
At least 5 years of cloud computing (AWS).
8+ years of experience in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript or Go.
Experience with AI tools like Claude and Windsurf.
Mentor and coach an engineering team and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects with distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Mentor engineers and participate in code reviews and architecture decisions.
Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions for regulatory needs.
Work with AWS tools and services and modern DevOps practices.
