EPAM Systems Inc. seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer to steer platform modernization, decommission legacy apps, and reinforce MCP Hosting Infra and AI Marketplace. You will define technical direction, advance bot automation, and elevate engineering standards across teams.

You will mentor engineers, own on-call processes, and collaborate with product teams to align priorities while driving secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE.
• Led end-to-end technical initiatives including migrations or decommissions.
• Strong AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes expertise.
• Background in monitoring and observability practices.
• Experience building authentication/credential-management systems with OAuth2.
• Experience designing on-call and support processes.
• Proven ability to mentor others.

Responsabilités

• Lead the spin-down of two applications with migration plans and decommissioning.
• Shape the MCP Hosting Infra architecture on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Drive ongoing development of AI Marketplace features.
• Establish support automation strategy and bot ownership.
• Set standards for Terraform, observability, runbooks and on-call practices.
• Mentor mid-level engineers through reviews and pairing sessions.
• Serve as escalation point for complex incidents and cross-team requests.
• Collaborate with product and other teams to prioritize work.
