Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support, maintain, and advance the enterprise data platform. This global role requires partnering with the JLLT team across country, regional, and global levels, leveraging Azure, Terraform, CI/CD, and observability tools.

Responsibilities include platform development, infrastructure as code, cost governance, and mentoring teams to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infra Eng roles.
Expert-level with Azure services and cloud patterns.
Advanced experience with IaC tools, esp. Terraform.
Strong CI/CD design and implementation background.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration.
Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar.
Solid knowledge of data platform tech and big data ecosystems.
Experience with monitoring/observability tools like DataDog, CloudWatch, Prometheus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with application teams to deliver new user-facing functionality, data ingestion, and analytics features.
Design and implement internal platform capabilities, including monitoring, testing frameworks, and performance tools.
Manage support queues across data platform domains and meet SLAs.
Design, build, and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform and CI/CD integration.
Standardize environment provisioning across dev, staging, prod environments.
Develop scalable, reliable infrastructure components for the data platform.
Promote Infrastructure as Code practices across the platform team.
Mentor teams on tools, patterns, and best practices.
Work with data engineers/scientists to unblock deliverables and drive innovation.
