Regal Rexnord's Gearing Division in Apodaca, Mexico is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead cross-functional projects, focus on productivity, cost reduction and design optimization. This role is onsite and requires strong English communication.

You will drive VAVE/MCO initiatives and support engineering for existing product lines. You will collaborate with Sourcing, Operations and international teams, applying 80/20 and Lean practices, performing cost analyses and guiding PPAP

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 7+ years’ relevant experience in a mechanical design or manufacturing engineering role.
• Experience leading meetings with cross-functional international teams and stakeholders.
• Strong English language skills (verbal, written, presenting).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and SolidWorks/GD&T knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Lead VAVE projects through a gated process with cross-functional teams.
• Gather component cost data and perform cost analysis to identify savings.
• Improve component designs for manufacturability, quality, and cost.
• Provide technical support for Sourcing and Quality teams (PPAP, drawings, deviations).
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on product design and workflows.
• Create test plans to validate concepts and document conclusions.
