Magna Powertrain in Mexico seeks an Industrial Engineer to develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes for machined gear components, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets through continuous improvement.

The role requires interpretation of engineering drawings and GD&T, AMEF analysis, and strong problem-solving to optimize gear generation, hobbing, power skiving, broaching, CNC turning, and gear grinding.

Formación

• Interpretation of engineering drawings and GD&T fundamentals.
• AMeF – process FMEA creation and updates.
• Experience correlating measurement data to process adjustments.
• Familiarity with gear manufacturing processes and tolerances.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes for machined gear components.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets via continuous improvement.
• Interpret drawings, analyze reports, and apply quality standards for gears.
