AgileEngine in Querétaro, Mexico seeks a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer to sit with business stakeholders and translate needs into data transformation work using dbt and SQL.

You will build robust data features and pipelines, model complex business use cases with dbt Cloud and Snowflake, and collaborate with product managers and analysts to deliver consumption-ready insights. Hybrid work options available.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering in a production environment.
• Expert-level Python and SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience building transformation pipelines in dbt Cloud is strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake and development tools like GitHub and VS Code.
• Ability to thrive in a process-light environment with clear communication to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver robust data features and pipelines directly within project teams for business-facing verticals.
• Translate complex business use cases into robust data models using dbt and SQL, aggregating revenue and performance data.
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code; document via dbt catalogs.
• Leverage AI tools in development workflow and collaborate with leadership to adopt governance.
• Partner with product managers and analysts to deliver consumption-ready data and guide technical decisions.
